What product do you guys use to re-coat the "rubber or plastic" ends of the wiring harness clamps/clips that are welded to the body? Or where do you get repop ones? Thanks, Tom

Thanks dadsbee! I have tried plasti-dip a few years ago, but it just did not get thick like the factory. I even did multiple dips and it looked weak after it dried. How many times did you dip yours? I must have dipped my trial stuff 3 or 4 times, but it just never seemed to get that "heavy" coating with the drip on them. Is the new stuff thicker than it used to be? Yours look great! I guess I need to get a new can and try it.

Hard to get it as thick as OEM, but you need to let it dry somewhat before the next dip, otherwise it just "melts" the first dip and you're back to square one.

I can get it thick with multiple dips. You also have to mix can thoroughly with a stick each time. Dip, hang for an hour, dip, hang for an hour. Repeat until you are satisfied.

When I dipped mine years ago, I left them to hang to dry overnight and then dipped them again the next day, but it still was not what I expected. I will have to try it again.
