It's been awhile. After more than 35 years working at CN Rail, yesterday was my last day. Time to get used to retirement and free time to work on the car!

Congratulations and well done on a fine career :)

Enjoy your retirement and the cars.

Congratulations and wishing you the best on your new life. You're not going to eat that cake all by yourself are you???? Mmmmm, looks good.

good luck hope can enjoy it :headbang:

Congratulations . . . Hope you find yourself busier than ever ( working on YOUR stuff ! ) . . . Enjoy ! !

It's a rarity these days someone can get a lifetime career out of one place so it's great you were able to do that! Congrats on your retirement and enjoy that extra time on the car!

Congrats! When you settle in and realize you aren't on vacation but retired you will wonder when you found time to work because you will be busy with so many other things. Good luck.

Congratulations Photon. I hope you have many years of happy and healthy retirement. I retired in 2007 after 36 years with a large transportation company in B.C. 36 years of shift work was enough and I'm enjoying my free time to the max. Best of luck to you. Have fun.

Congratulations are definitely in order there. 35yrs is a long time to be with one employer. I'm sure your work history and record convey. Enjoy your free time. You deserve it!!

Congratulations now it's time to be a kid again and have some fun and spend the kids inheritance. Everyday is Saturday:)

It's not the end of the line it's the new beginning.

That first day of not having to get up and go to work it priceless! So are all the ones that follow. Put each one to good use doing something you really enjoy.

Congrats & enjoy your retirement years, you've earned them... But I can tell you 1st hand, I like to work, most of the time anyway, I like keeping active, there were days I hated work thou, but I also was/am my own boss too, well unless you count the customers/clients as a boss...LOL... But, Now I'm bored as hell allot & I'm not even completely retired yet {only 54}, just stepped back & downsized, spend time with family, travel etc.... Unfortunately there's not enough money coming in, like the $$$ amount when I worked full time... It was a rude wake up after the 1st couple months... Because you really have to watch the spending allot more, with much less income coming in {or on a fixed income} & much more time, to be able to do all the stuff I wanted to, with all the extra free time either... I'm really glad I have no mortgage, no car payments, nor debt, it would be really tough, to do any car stuff at all, let alone anything else, if I still had to pay a bunch of stuff off... You either have the money & no time to spend it or lots of time & not enough money coming in, it's a vicious cycle... Good luck & I hope you have a blast, in retirement

Congrats on retiring! Its a great feeling. I've been busier as a retiree than any day at a regular job. Enjoy your new freedom.

Congrats! Most of my friends that are retired are so busy now they wonder how they found time to work! I hope you enjoy your retirement for many, many years!

Damn you are old!! Just kidding, congratulations on your retirement. Maybe now you will have the time to come help everyone else with their Mopars.

I retired in 06 and work way more now than I did before!! At least I could go to work and sometimes take a break lol. At least most of the stuff I'm doing is stuff I want to do except for work on the car.....dang it. Congrats!
