Engine code help

I just got a 63 sport Fury and am trying to find out what the factory engine was.
The fender tag has a 2 under the B which I think denotes the engine but what engine is =2?

Also can you point me to a good link that provides that info.

I looked at that site many times and could not fine the info I asked about.

Do a "search" on here. "Fender tag"

There are a couple of plymouth furys.

I believe the 2/B is automatic trans.

Numbers under the "A" are engines

No number under the "A" is standard engine, which in your case should be the 318.
