Hello,
I've got interference in my speakers, a high pitch noise matching my cars rev's, I'm sure you know what I’m talking about. I remember from a long time ago, reading that its something to do with the cables being to close to one another, the problem I have is that my battery is in the trunk so I've got little room to move them.

is there anything else I can do?

What kind of plug wires are you running? Solid core wire will produce lots of RF garbage!

It's also possible the noise is coming in through the power wire for the stereo. Try installing an RF filter on the hot wire to the radio. Some cars have a condenser (capacitor) on the coil and I believe that's for radio noise suppression.

If you're running a fiberglas hood you'll pick up your ignition quite well lol

Maybe check the ground for da radio itself...it's usually screwed into da bottom of da dash :)

Can you please explain a little bit more about your car's stero setup? Are you running amplified speakers or just speakers and a head? Like previous mentioned what kind of speaker wire are you using.
