Simple fix for that is to not get into a self driving car. WTF are people thinking these days?

Till they get all the bugs out of the system, I would never get in anything that is computer generated. We haven't fix the self checkout problem because of people not being able to interact properly with machines, I'm definitely not going down the road in an unpiloted death trap.

I don't think there are any around here.
Don't know how well they would do with snow, ice and unusual traffic patterns that develop during storms here.
Often you can't see the painted lines and the "tracks" of the cars are sometimes not even in the actual lane.
I don't think they would work here unless they have GPS for every inch of road and can hold it closely.

If I come up to one on the freeway, i stay back a bit off their rear bumper. If a blinker goes on move a little forward and they won't slow down or speed up and will miss the exit.

What happened to Taxis? They seemed like a viable option until scabby uber and lyft came around.

I've adopted a different mindset toward meals.
I try to live by This isn't the last meal I'll ever eat which gives me freedom to try new things that may or may not be good. Sometimes it pays off and I find something great that I normally wouldn't give a try.
THIS though....

What is there to be gained by choosing a ride in a self driving car? Are they offering FREE rides during this test cycle just to get customers used to the idea?
Is saving a few bucks doing this really worth it to you?
