Having assembled a bunch of those external systems over the years, I can say I’m not a fan. The internal setup is so much more clean and simple.

I agree, but I got a steal of a deal on the pan & the whole set up & at 8000 RPM I feel it was needed.

I used the same milodon pan since my 440 days 35 years ago.Just put an aluminum pan on last year when amongst other mods I installed an aluminum pan after setting the engine back a few inches.I cut all the motor mount out leaving just the flat plate that the steering box bolts to.I sell this steering box brace that really stiffens up the box.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not condemning anyone using it, just pointing out the obvious, that they can be a complete PIA. Routing issues, Dripping fittings, hose problems, kinks, drain back issues, etc.

Put a one way check valve in line never have to worry about drain back again just a thought.

I also run an Accusump on my car so never an issue anyway. I still ran the loop on my car just because I knew better.
