I am told engine was rebuilt a few years ago and the "purple cam" was installed. Frankly I don't think the engine was ever driven because there are no oil leaks, The carb is brand new. Engine starts up with first crank and all paint looks new but dusty from sitting around. Removed engine to put a GEN III hemi in car. Contact if interested, Asking 1500.

What is the sequence # stamped on the passengers side pad on the block above the oil pan and what is on the engine block front pad?

I can check tomorrow. What specifically are you looking for? The car was numbers matching auto with manual steering and bench seat. Nothing special about it other than it was owned by a policeman who was escort for Nixon's motorcade. Supposedly a few famous people had a ride in the car (Watergate).

Interesting history! Did not know it was a #'s matching to your car most times those are not for sale. Just wondering if it would match mine or any one Else's car but i guess not

Nope, I think 1969 was the first year for stamping the partial VIN on the block. Heck if I'd sell it if I had the car it came in, even if it is "just" a 383.

The reason im selling it was because the car was bought specifically to be protoured. I am going to replace the engine, suspension and interior with a late model SRT8 charger. The history was unknown until I received the car.

Most question on the rearend I am listing here:

1. The rearend is an 8 3/4. Most likely stock and not possi
2. The car had 53k miles on it and I know it was stored for 30 years so no changes made to rearend. All numbers shown in pics.
3. shipping is from 32207 It would be palletized
6'L x 2'W x 1.5' H pallet
The weight is roughly 275lbs
class is 77.5. you can get quotes from freightquote.com .
Shipping to a commercial building is much cheaper than residential, Having a loading dock even cheaper.
example of a recent quote to same zip. 225. to residential, 180. to commercial 100. to commercial with loading dock
If you lie and say commercial or loading to get better price quote they will really gig you when time to pay shipment.
