Maaan that bird has come a long way! And safe to say my favorite '69 I've seen. Amazing job and congratulations Will! :eek:ccasion14:

Thanks SpeedFreak! Long road indeed, but man it's been worth it. Can't wait to really get out and enjoy my bird.

That just brought tears to the eyes. AWWWWWWWWEEESSOME JOB. Makes me want the GTX running even more. But with a lot patience this will be the end result and worth waiting for.
Thanks for the excellent thread and the drive to help me get my resto started.

Thanks Prop you are an inspiration to all us mopar fans young and old.

x2!! Seeing all your hard work pay off with such an outstanding result keeps the rest of us going! Hopefully me and the Charger will see you at Mopars at the Strip next year now that skelator is reborn haha

Holy crap Will!!!!! Skeletor looks & sounds awesome. You must be one proud poppa.
Congrats, you did one he'll of a job.

Top notch! get her buttoned up and get rolling! you must be proud it looks fantastic.

Skelator looks and sounds amazing .. I know these 'firsts' are proud and so well deserved moments. I'm loving being along for the ride, via this thread. Thanks Will !

Very nice Will. One of the nicest restorations that I have ever seen. Your black is really deep - is that the factory shade or something special?

Congrats, that's kick ***........ I'm at a loss for words.

Skeletor is a girl?! Only girl on the block with dose nutz! Congrats man the car looks absolutely fantastic.

Skeletor sounds great, but you know that already. :) You really are going to have many imitators from people who have watched you bring back the bird. Truly amazing work :eusa_clap: but yea, take a vacuum to that carpet! :icon_wink:

Thanks for the video Will. Car looks and sounds amazing, I was expecting a lot more "chop" in the idle. Very street able for sure, well as "street able" as 630+ftlbs of torque can be. ha ha ha

WoW! Thanks for all the very kind words fella's, very nice of you. I'm glad to have had you guys along for the ride on this car.....If seeing the car come back justifies some of you guys to keep spinning the wrenches on your own rides or grab the dream of buying and starting your own resto, I'm very grateful to hear that! Really good stuff. I'll be sure to get her cleaned up 61...My electric vacuum pump that doesn't want to shut off would do a great job of that right now..lol Force of habit on calling the bird a girl KB. I really don't see a whole lot of competition around my neighborhood. Unless Subaru and Honda really stepped up their game here lately..lol The code on the black is not any kind of factory/OEM colr Hunt2Elk. The color is Super Jet Black, code 99000S Dupont Chromabase. The guy that painted the bird sprayed several black's out on a test panel for me to look at (including a factory Mopar black from '69), then we took it out in the sun to see how it looked. Some took on a brown hue, some yellowish, blue or grey. This black stayed black and was the one he recommended. A bit more pricey than others, but being such a rich black it takes on a real deep look. Thanks again guys!

you should post a before and after pic. when you look at the blue bird in your fist post and then look at your latest pics it is hard to believe it is the same car!
