Favorite Car Movie?

Car movies, I love 'em. Movies with great car chases, movies that feature a car as a main character, or movies with cars as background eye candy, it doesn't matter to me. I know I have a ton of favourites, but what about everyone else... What car movies are on YOUR must see list?

Like any other gearhead, there are too many to choose from but if I had to choose one, it would have to be Hollywood Knights (about a car club in Van Nuys, CA in the mid-60s). It's got fast cars, nudity, cruising, nudity, street racing, nudity and a very young tender morsel named Michelle Pfiefer(sp?) in it (along with Tony Danza, Robert Wuhl, Fran Drescher, etc.). BTW: Did I mention nudity? Granted, just a little nudity but these days ... that goes a long way. ;)

I think the movies that make me most sick are Tommy Boy and Payback both of which show a GTX and RR get demolished. Tommy Boy really hurts because they drag it out for so long.

I think they switch that GTX in Tommy Boy after the deer scene.

Next time you watch it, look at the paint on the car. It changes from the nice blue to kinda dull and oxidized in the next scene.

I think they painted up and cloned a GTX for the rest of the movie. Shame they still messed up a Belvedere.

Does anyone know where there is a hi res image i can use as a background, of the Chevy and the Coupe lined up for the drag race?
