Fenderwell headers?

Do they exist for '67-'70 big block B bodies?

I love the look and they would be too cool with my tunnel ram 383..

Complete the look with the Super Tricks and all

Hooker still sells super comp fenderwell headers for bbm, summit has them listed, but says they ship directly from hooker. 5205HKR. NOT cheap. But then nowadays, no quality header is!

I have an unused set of Stahl fenderwell headers for a bigblock in a Mopar A body. The biggest problem I had with them is tire clearance. You will either need short tires or will need to raise the front ent for steering clearance. Then, there is having to cut out the inner fender....

Ahh a unibody car.. Hey lets cut out the integrity of the front end and stuff some goofy headers in there.. The picture you posted shows what butcher job they did installing those headers. Unless you are building a drag car I'd stay away from them. But to each his own.

Replace windows much? I heard that if you V8 an Opel that the torque twists the body and pops out windshields.

Haven't had that problem. It's a fourlink chassis car, with a straight front axle. Coilovers, front and rear, and a cage tied to the tube chassis.
Ex mid-eight M/prod car, now on the street, with a BIG radiator.

Negatives....
holes in wells to fit
tire size
possible brake booster interference
tubes to get back under the car if you exhaust out the back
ground clearance (even less with a B engine vs. RB)
greater care must be taken if you trailer the car so they don't get caught on the ramps

Positives......
plug changes
starter changes
stock bell crank
scatter shield won't need to be notched
easier to un-cork

Last fall Holley had these FWs (and the black equivalents) as low as $360 on clearance. Mine are aged so I couldn't pass 'em up.

They didn't tell ya' this on the website.............

The gaskets were damaged, surprisingly the headers look fine. Holley sent another gasket set, NC.

Still, that's a heck of a good buy, if you really want em. I think summits listing for them now is nearly $800.
I do remember someone on here mentioning the clearance. Was that you?

Lol, probably not on FBBO as my car is a Abody. Surprised to see a Bbody owner actually interested in them.

Could easily have been on the a-body side, lol. I have a 67 barracuda, and am over there often too. (I just avoid n&p there, get enough of that here, lol)
And I think most, if not all, of Bob Moser's hemi/maxwedge recreations use fw headers.

Find a set of fender well headers used,cheap. Cut them where they come out of fender panels. Put a flange on them bolt to inner fender panel. Have the look and no butchering. Run a set of regular headers. I think they have a great look but the hacking is a deal breaker. They aren't the best on uni-body cars, frame cars different story.
