FINALLY got my S60!!!

It was a long 6 weeks from ordering to receiving my new S60!!

I had actually gone to the local shipping depot to pick it up on Friday but they couldn't find it.
That was a little frustrating but luckily the found it and called me this morning so I went back to pic it up.

Now I have to get my driveshaft shortened and put it in!!

It’s just as I got it new from Strange. Whined from day one, but it doesn’t bother me.

I didn’t ask. Like I said I don’t care, I mostly run the car with open headers so I don’t hear it then. It’s mostly on deceleration around 25-40 mph.

I got it with a spool and 4.56 ratio so noise level wasn’t high on my list of priorities.

I may change to a sure-grip and street gears in the future so I will probably look into it then.

I ordered one for my a-body, last year. Fully loaded [gun-drilled, lightened, 40 spline] I got in on a buy-in [big discount], so I ordered all the options except the aluminum cover.
Painted it after welding the spring pads.

Epoxied it before install.

I painted mine up before installing. For some reason I thought the cover needed another coat (can must’ve run out.). I grabbed another can of black and sprayed it. Wrinkled the first coat dammit must have been a different kind of paint. What a mess.

You could always check the gear pattern before you run it. I believe I would have to know just for piece of mind. Nothing is as it should be these days.
