First time on the Drag strip.

After hearing what's under the hood, maybe there is 2 seconds more there !
 
Don't be too hard on yourself, on my first pass at the track I did my burnout and didn't shift
Back down to first and took off in second gear and ran 14.10. But it was a test and tune night and by the end of the night got it down to 12.90. You just need more seat time to get to know your car. Good luck and keep up the good fight. Mopars Rule!!
 
Isn't it true that your et is started as the front wheels break the beam and not started with the green light?...........................MO

Stick or Auto? For a stick I always assumed you would leave in 2nd instead of spinning right through 1st

Joe I know your car is a stick what gear did you launch in and remind me what gears you're running?
 
Hey Mike, the first two runs I started in first.The last run I started in second and spun I hold back a little cause I am not use to the power of the car it (at least for me right now) has scary acceleration.I run 4.11 in the rear end now. I believe it will run 11.5 or faster once I get use to it.But I can't run it any faster than 11.5 because I don't have a cage.
Also we are at 6000ft. altitude. So if a car runs 11.5 at sea level that same car would run about 12.5 here.
