Just found this great video building the Fokker DR.I. No sound through the entire thing. I found a little odd but very cool to see the craftsmanship that went into this iconic plane!

The metal and woodworking is just incredible!

I’ll locate part 2 and post up as well..

 
I have a friend that built a WWI german fighter completely from scratch. It took him years and many different skills to learn. It came out beautifully and flies excellent ! If I can find his video, I will post it.

Very cool! I knew they would difficult to build but now with everything being done from scratch. Incredible!
 
The one group of pictures showed a Camouflaged top wing a light blue bottom wing. Copy of Werner Voss' DR-1?
 
Landing has to be done at a higher speed due to the stall speed. I built a gas powered 1/4 scale Waco, lots of fun to fly but you were a basket case once you landed it.
 
Those Fokkers are cool. :D
 
Looks like they are building a fleet of them. Quite the engineering feat!
