If you're looking for a train travel experience but don't have a destination in mind, scenic tours are a good way to go. Here in BC the Rocky Mountaineer does April - October excursions. You can even start out in Seattle if you're coming from the USA.

Although I can actually ride VIA Rail any time I feel like, for free...I'm thinking of one of these Rocky Mountaineer tours next summer.

I got more pics somewhere, but you get the idea. YEAH, THE MOPARS GOT A HEMI!. Not a lot of pullin power, but does haul *** towin a few lite cars. 3+ years absent from playin with them, I do miss it!
