Arguably the most "modern" steam engine, with roller bearings and lightweight rods, etc.

Pretty too, with well thought out streamline shrouding that didn't interfere with maintenance.

Broad Street Station in Richmond, VA is now a science museum. The architecture of the building is awesome. The interior is beautiful. I can tell you first hand that it was incredibly noisy with all of those hard surfaces and filled with people talking, yelling, walking, and moving luggage.
