Now, can someone explain what the heck was behind the concept of using a bee for a muscle car?

Simple rule of marketing anything, be it a car, house, stamp collection, anything. If it doesn't sell in a reasonable amount of time, IT'S OVERPRICED!!!! It's amazing how many people don't get this simple concept.

...or you haven't reached your target market.

The judgment between the two is priceless, and makes the difference between a sucessful marketing campaign and a failed one.

He runs this same ad with the same price every 10-15 days, and has done so for several months.

You'd think by ad 8 or 10, he'd either-

A- drop the price
B- do some research other than what is claimed in the listing, and then drop the price
C- take some fu*king PICTURES!!

I don't think it's in primer. Who puts stripes on primer? What it looks like to me is one of those flat paint jobs some guys around here are offering as a "high performance" look for a super cheap price, but what is actually just a cheap paint job that doesn't require much effort since it's flat.

Bruzilla, Hey Hey now, my car is ultra flat black, after doing all the body work, looks better than just multi color **** it was, it isn't rusting away at-least, until I can afford all the proper materials & supplies, to do a real high dollar paint job & I tried stripes on the back to see what it looked like too... Some people don't have the extra $1000-$5000 to throw at something, that's a hobby sometimes... I'll take that race you were offering... Just busten' your chop.... :headbang:

Sounds as though you don't care for the Chevy Bow-Tie guys at all! I always thought they were smart well educated guys.. You know they can describe the back end of almost every Mopar out there? Its amazing how in detail they know all the Mopars at a glance of the tail lights, rear bumpers even license plate numbers, great eyes, ill give-em that! :edgy:

C'mon Budnicks... you put that kinda money under the hood, then claim poverty to explain the el cheapo paint job? Sorry... I'm not buying that one! You dropped some Yankee greenbacks into that engine bay, but the original subject of this string didn't. Plus, no offense, but those stripes on your car look like homemade ones. The subject car has aftermarket stripes, which cost some bread to put on.

Lots of reasons to get flagged on CL.. dont use buzz words.. its considered spam...
Like if you have a Satellite for example and in the ad use Roadrunner,GTX Charger to catch mopar fans attentions its considerd spam and will get flagged. If your asking to much money or the car is a complete junk its gets flagged... and then you just have jerks who are jealous who flag what they want but cant afford...
the description must be accurate as well as the ad... you cant use chevelle gto or camaro is your selling a nova..
