This is still on topic as you asked about the wire and someone posted asking about the code.

This will help anyone wanting to know if it was original to their car.

Im still working on codes just waiting for my white books to come in the mail. A few of the fender tags got me stuck but will get them done.

What year was the air grabber scope made to run off a vacum?

Also what was the code for it?

For some reason it sticks out in my head the first ones where cable pulled and then made to run off a vacum later on.

Im not sure if Im thinking about this right. Please tell me if im wrong or right on this.

This brings up a good topic and on topic of codes and maybe even parts numbers as well.

The ones that worked off vacuum are the 70 up ones that "pop up". They are still coded as N96

70 up style , flip a switch instead of pull a cable

Thank you and I will enjoy this one as the tag looks like something I remember.

The few codes I have on a few other cars are killing me I can figure out but I will.

I can tell its a Charger year 69 and price class is special and I think it might be this is just from memory is a 383, console and I think air.

I need to look over it more but thats just me looking at it and its from memory.

Is that F3 and F8 both green colors. Thats kind of odd to me to see F3 and then F8 seats.

The car was built in Jan and on the 27th day as well.

Thank you for giving me this code and thank you all for giving me codes its been a big help. I have missed this part of my life big time.

You mean Feb. 27:grin:
F8 is the interior paint code

HAHA correct I meant Feb. but typed in Jan. The F8 color I know that in the past when I have seen the green on green cars they are F8 and F8.

I have not broken the codes down yet and cant wait to dive in. I have a stack of cars to do and there are two right now that are just...........well I will get them.

Thanks everyone for letting me decode the cars.

Thanks for your effort!!!! i decoded my baby when i first got her using galen's books, and i cant remember wat i did with the sheet!!! :sFun_doh2: i do have a build sheet i will post as soon as i can get a decent pic. i "decoded" that too...and it's probably in the same place as the fender tag decode!!! :black_eye: the trans is a 727, and i'm pretty sure that she was born with it, as i didn't see any 4-spd hump. Thanks again Mr Coronet R/T Guy!!!!

Hey no problem and thank you for letting me decode the car and thanks everyone for letting me doced your cars.

Im still working on a few cars and I have a few done already that I need to send out to the owners yet.

Well I know what it means. I want to help a fellow MoFan. She's a Charger R/T. 1969. 440 with air. Yes, yes I know the color combo is odd. I'd never tool around town in my Charger if it looked like what the fender tag said. She'll be blue, B5 Blue. Which blue is that?

Hey! anything for a fellow Mopar guy!

I would like to see the green color of the body. I think it would be cool looking car. Im just not sure what green the body is as I know the inside of the car would be dark green.

I like B5 blue as I have owned two B5 cars and both where B5 B5. The first was a 70 Challenger R/T the second a 68 Charger.

The name of the color is Bright Blue Metallic. I always wanted a B5 blue car with white seats. I ended up with a black Coronet R/T and white buckets and that works for me.

I will get the car decoded.

Anyone know where you can go to see paint chips for the colors?
