With your car on it's wheels use an angle finder on your carb air horn.
The engine may bolted in in the wrong angle.
U say pinion angle is good. So what is it? What is the tranny at? What is the pinion at? If the pinion is not -3 degree’s less than the tranny, that’s your problem. Yes, a bent axle can cause a vibe. Even a bent housing can cause a vibe. I do think your driveshaft is too short by what you’re saying. Do u have aluminum wheels? Do your brake drums have weights on the front face where the wheels bolt too. Maybe there is interference there. Kim
Do y'all realize that the last reply to this thread was 3 years ago? Why he didn't say anything about finding the issue or not is still out there in the wind..... @Outlawd , did you find out what the issue was?Juist spitballin here.
Is the Vibration at a specific viabration or speed.
If speed you MAY have an issue with one of the axles. I know you change pumpkins but if it's an axel that change wouldn't address an axel issue.
Jack up the back end and see if theres any play in the axle end play on each side.
Just a thought
Good luck
