Hey anyone know why it's so hard to fuel a 1967 plymouth gtx. You have to have the right angle & flow speed to stop overflow? Is there a vent on the gas tank?

My '67 Belvedere is similar, just gotta hold the proper angle and the fuel flows in. The neck within the trunk is pretty twisted, and on my car you can see what looks like a vent partway down. Try putting fuel in at that point or above and it flows out the vent (through the frame, I think).

Yup, my 66 is/was the same way. The bends in the fill pipe slows down the flow and it backs up....
