Being color blind is no excuse for this mis match. Ashtray has been installed for over two weeks and about two hours ago I noticed the difference. Car is a 68 Charger, exterior paint GG1. Interior green carpet, green pleated seats.
This is Herbs match called Dark Metallic Green 1968.
According to Hamtramck Historical site interior code is C6F.
Anyone get me closer to a match with the dash in the picture?

I can't help with your problem but, I have a similar problem with my 65 Coronet. I have two different colors on my lower windshield trim. Close but different. Probably built on a Monday or Friday! I will never change it though.

Looks blue to me. Wife says I'm color blind, don't believe her.

39 years in the auto industry, and in that time processed over 62 colours and was expected to make plastic, and it's gloss level, match vinyl, cloth, paint, seat belt webbing and who knows what else match. All I can say, glad I'm not there anymore !!

I am color blind and I use that as my excuse when things don't look right. Even when I can see the difference

Females are usually not color blind, only .05% of woman are.
So now to find one 25-30 not color blind and can’t read a ruler !

Most of the interior pieces didn't match each other colors from the factory, so it looks correct.
