You people are more patient than me. It's been 8 1/2 months now. At 1 year something will be done. At that point I will be pissed off. Don't piss me off. I took a guy to small claims once over $34 knowing I would never get it and would be spending much more to even file the claim. But he kept making promises he never kept and wouldn't answer my phone calls. Kinda sounds familiar.

I saw a Mopar for sale listing online the other day that had an inspection report attached to the listing that Galen did in person last summer. I was surprised to see that as he's seemingly been off the radar for a long time. I guess the car owner found that Dave Wise was too booked up to inspect his car, so settled on Galen instead!

Ten years ago, I found a "documented" GTX that supposedly had extensive paperwork, including the broadcast sheet. When I got there, the only "documentation" the seller could produce was a Galen decode of the fender tag. I turned around and drove home, the only time I ever returned empty handed after traveling to inspect a vehicle.

What proof do you have that it was actually Galen? It actually could have been anybody posing as him.

I guess you'll just have to trust my intuition and the FABO mods that agreed with my post.

Was he an asset to the hobby 20+ years ago, certainly, but in the past 15 he should have been charged with fraud, theft of property held in trust, attempted extortion and most likely under US law mail fraud.

Adjust that to 25+ and it would be more accurate.... In 2001 he was doing shady stuff....

I was being generous. Just dug my USPS envelope out from him dated June 2004. He did my Bee, took all my data for the Bird at the exact same time and never did the report for it.

My GTX went into his registry in 1995, it was one of….when I bought the car nearly 30 years later, I agreed the car was an exceptional example, but the GG report was no value to me, when the seller tried to use it as leverage.
