Another case of someone who's service grew too big for them to handle. Instead of shutting down acceptance of payment or restructuring to handle the load, he just keeps running the business.
Doesn't do his image in the community too well, and that's a shame. I've been through one of his huge, original 4" white binders from the '80s or early '90s (dubbed the "Galen Govier Book of Knowledge" or something corny like that - as I recall, the binder is a lot more comprehensive than the small books), and it is pretty much genesis for all the tag decoders now online - and then some.
Shame that the same effort he put into the research never seemed to mate with the same effort for a working business model.
Geez, I know a perfect place for that tag, eh Budnicks?
Jokes aside, are these actually available? I'd love to slap one in my Satellite.
