If an engine cannot stand 3K drivin down the road, it's gotta problem somewhere. If you call that revvin it's tits off, maybe you need a Toyota. I drove my Valiant with 4.30 gears and 28" tall tires on it everyday on the street for between 3 and 4 years. About 12 miles one way. I drove that to Jacksonville from Macon, to Fernandina Beach from Macon, to Tallahassee from Macon. Get out on the interstate, jack it up on 55 and keep your big toe on the gas. JUST enough to keep it goin down the road. Mine went like 2750 at 55. These cars weren't meant to ba babied around with. They were meant to be driven.

well rusty mine is babied because i wont ever have money to replace it again, mopars are double to triple the price over here of what you guys pay, well everything is cheap in the states i should say. even houses here are double and triple.

thanks rusty ,i hate these f**king holdens cheap rubbish if you ask me and there all GM designed. you guys will probably find this funny as we all do, alot of these wankers here put chevy badges on there holden commodores, just because it has a chevy designed motor does not make your car a chevy. BUT wait even funnier back in the 80's holden brought out a VL commodore which had a nissan skyline motor in it, i saw one the other day with a chevy badge on it LMAO.
