Gen 3 bracket motor

wow thats a bummer .
Bob can you instead use a pulley mounted crank trigger if reluctor is incorrect ?

Tex
Hell of an idea. could a duplicate reluctor wheel to the correct one be made?

I was trying to figure a way of doing that myself.
Not sure how to make that work with what I have.
Wasted spark ignition with individual coil packs.

Out in Ohio today doing some testing before this weekends race.
With 3800 D.A., managed 4 10.0x passes at 132.
Pretty happy with that for the conditions.

Bob ,
If using a msd box with carb should be no issue unless it needs a trigger per cylinder. i know you are using COP .
Might be worth asking msd or on their tech forum ?
as much as i know 24 or 48 etc is just finer control . I also know with LS there is 24 or 48 (?) and now you can get 1 box that does both rather than individual boxes to suit

I haven't seen a gen3 with a crank trigger on it.
I already have an msd6 hemi box and reluctor for this motor.
I can't keep buying stuff.
After speaking with several people at Dragway 42s race this weekend, including 2 tuners, I've decided to pull the motor and run the msd.
One of the tuners couldn't believe that I have this thing running low 10's with the way the microsquirt is set up.

I got my 9 second slip this weekend. I was almost happy with that being the DA was nearly 4000 ft. at the time.

I'm finally getting somewhere with this motor.
Got into the 9.70's today and it ran pretty consistently in the low .80's.
2 Timsehots and 6 rounds later I decided to take a nap and was runner-up...

Well if there were no buy backs. There were at least 32 other racers that didn't make it to the final. Congrats on the final round and the improved ET.
