Will a 727 pushbutton T/F from a 318 Poly, bolt up to a 3rd Gen Hemi? I understand the later LA small block T/F will, with a different flex plate, but what about the earlier trans?
I am thinking about swapping my poly out, in the future, but want the push button shift.

Nice car! Keep it simple! Poly power... folks usually don’t know what the heck that engine is when the see it..lol

I would suggest replacing the reaction shaft support (back half of the pump), pump gears, and input shaft. That will allow you to use any later converter (67 and newer nonlock-up) . It's pretty easy. I can do them in less than 30 minutes. You'll also need a spacer as the Hemi crank length is different.
