Gen ll Hemi scattershield, where do I get one? I have heard or rather read the horror stories about old Lakewoods, and Quick time. Would rather do linkage vs hydraulic. I have the 11" clutch and 142 or 3 ? tooth flywheel . Has Quicktime straightened their issues out? I know, these 2 are probably my only 2 choices.

What horror stories ?? For every ONE horror story there are 100 happy customers - but who wants to hear good things !!!

Never heard a single issue on a Lakewood, that I've been running since 1978. Quick time the odd clutch dish stuck in a dash...

It was on a forum either here or another from a few years back. Lakewood was getting out of shape, so guy switched Quick time, and had several problems installing it. Starter, fork pivot, ball for z-bar. Sounded like a pita. Maybe that's why Mancini seems to sell only the hydraulic Quick time. Been trying to get one from Dan Brewer since last spring.

I have had good luck with both Lakewood and Quicktime on Mopars. However, on buddies Fords and Chevrolets, we did have to oval out holes and do machining at times to make them fit to center up correctly.

This is just a reminder, probably don't need it.

Yes, I know to indicate the bell. Sounds like the Quick time is out, I have an 11" clutch. Dan B. is looking. Otherwise I will try the want ads. Hate to, just got burned by yet another member on a part. That's 4 times now, one of these days.

Post up the names of the members that burnt u. It will help us from not being one of their victims. Thanks. Kim

I have in the past. Seems like they just disappear, or other members argue and say the seller has always been a good seller or member. That then puts the onus back on the truthfulness of me or the buyer.
