General supplies question...year 1, classic etc

Back in the late 80's, I did the grand order from Year One. Can't remember everything, but things to avoid are: Passenger side mirror pitted in a short time, (if you don't have one, don't add one - two less holes in the body) rocker clips too soft and allow trim to pull away from body, carpet faded fast, and rear shelf seemed to buckle up rather fast. This is ancient history, and their suppliers probably improved by now. If doing it again, I'd follow advice above and use FBBO vendors when possible.

Yep, been there done that. Spent $10k in one hit with them in '88.
Had a private tour of their facility in '90 with Jeff Ferguson - International Sales Rep, and what a big place it was then. I cannot imagine how colossal it is now.

I probably wouldn't buy much if anything from them now, as the products can be sourced cheaper and better quality with lower shipping costs from other Vendors. Having said that, M&H harnesses are only available from Y1.
