Taking the suggestion to make a quick intro as a new member. My name is Paul, college year friends call me Yogi, but i turn 64 next week. My son Michael (who's probably on this forum as PhaserFX) and I are both invested in the Mopar hobby and between us have seen most things "A" and "B" body from 1968. I'm on my second 68 Charger, wrecked the first one in college and left it at the frat house to be abused and die....what a mistake. Next I funded and built a 340 Dart GT with Michael in his high school years, from a slant 6 auto to 340 4spd, that he's now converting to a SCCA track car....and surprising some of his young buddies driving rice and granola burners. I'm finally getting my 2nd 68 charger RT redone mechanically, its numbers matching so I wanted the motor rock solid in order to spank it a little before my knees are completely shot. Picking up my 440HP from Jack Boyd's in Johnstown NY on Saturday, hoping to get a A-833 OD out of Passon soon, and then I've got a winter assembly job. Thus my snooping around these forums like 40 years ago looking for even more unobtanium than was in the mopar world back then. Wish me luck!...oh, and there's a 2023 Charger Scat Pack 392 Black on Black Hemi Orange package last call in the garage to keep me satisfied until its done!...powerful, but not raw enough.

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Welcome from the central coast of Cal. The Cal Custom covers you have are cool! Your son and I are on similar tracks with the cars. I'm setting my 65 Coronet up to do track events and autocross. Twisties are fun!
