Well like the title says I will be redneck'en tonight at the warren county fair in Harmony NJ. I use to do 8 -10 derbys a year but between buying a house and getting married I've slowed down. But its all for fun. I will post after pics tomorrow. Wish Me Luck

GL man...do you drive bump 'n' run or figure 8 ? Ive been running figure 8 for 4 years...slowed down after a hard drivers door hit, but man is it a blast...stay safe and remember to keep your hands and feet inside of the car and make sure your belt is latched before landing :headbang:

Yeah its the compact class but if you win they they let you run in the feature with big cars which ive done. You just have to play hit and run like hell!!! LOL

If it wasn't for getting old and having a perfect back (perfectly crappy), I'd be doing that too!! Used a 67 Dart once in a 'private derby' and had a blast!

Only newer iron for me I will only use old iron if it is too far gone. Anything 75 and up love the lincolns and Caddys

The 67 Dart wasn't 'old iron' back then....the 'wreckage' took place in 74.

Me & a couple of friends ran a Demo Derby car a few times, usually mid 70's Impala's, they were dirt cheap & had full frames & good bumpers, sponsored by Diablo Muffler shop, we had "No Muff is Too Tuff" in pink 12" vinyl letters all over the car, we didn't last very long, in any of the events....

So I took 4th out of 10 not to bad when the other 9 drivers were all friends. But the bird will live to run another derby. Some how the fuse for the FI blew. So tonight I'll pull the front end out, new front tires and plug wires and she will be ready for this friday night derby
