I am collecting all the window weatherstripping for a 1970 road runner for replacement.

Since I received the car in pieces I'm sure most have never gone as far as I have to go with it. Just under the drip rail there is a galvanized channel that runs from the back quarter window to the front corner of the front side window. This channel is listed as a "RETAINER" in the shop manual. The window foam seats up into it. It has a thin foam sealer that goes between the retainer and the drip rail. Can't find this retainer seal piece. Any ideas?

Darned, I was afraid of that. Maybe i will use RTV silicon instead.
