I rooted for the Tigers in 1968 to beat St Louis, I was still pissed off about the Red Sox losing to them in 1967..I liked Al Kaline, Gates Brown & Denny McClain...I got to meet Denny a few times in the early 80's when he was on trial here in Tampa Fl..Who wins 30+ games any more??

Infante was out for sure but what a gift! We can bash Valverdie all we want(I did) but look at his record over the past 2 years and you can't deny the man is damn good most of the time.
That's huge that we took the first 2 in NYC.

WORLD SERIES BABY! Man oh man! The Giants had amazing comebacks against the Reds and now against the Cards. Games 5, 6, and 7 were incredible. Now onto the Tigers. The Giants are on FIRE and since they've only had a 1 day layoff, they've got the momentum edge over Detroit. Zito is starting and I sense 2 world series victories in the last 3 years! LET'S GO GIANTS!!!
