You'll find a really nice all original body under my rattle can primer job! It's nuts and hate that I'm not working on it and too bad it's not a 68 Charger..because most people make a mess ........ I have never found anything good under a rattle can primer job...... just beware

I've done very little body work to it...filled all the trim holes for one thing (welded them up with no warpage) and it's the only 2nd car I did. It needs some work in the lower 1/4 panel area below the quarter window. Solid metal but someone backed into it I assume and the repair wasn't very good.there are rare exceptions; but remember, everyone is a bodyman

I got a few stories looking at cars that were supposed to be absolutely great....one involved bondo with newspaper and wire mesh for bondo backing lol. I'm sure you have experience plenty of crap like that.like I said.......
Another/better option?I’m passing on it fellows, the seller decided to keep it…
Thanks for all the help/input

I couldn’t agree more….i needed some input because i know nothing about bodywork….and at my age with a pathetic budget…its hard to pull the trigger especially if there are no funds for BIG surprises….frustratingJust because it has rust, that doesn’t mean you can’t drive it and fix it later. Not every car is a complete pos because of rust. And not every car has to be absolutely perfect. There’s middle ground. Use the body work as negotiations
30k firm
I’m hoping not, since I’m not interested in a “Barret Jackson “ trailer queen… just a nice driver for local cruises and showsWhen it comes to Chargers, a 30 grand car can turn into a hundred grand car real easy.
Glad I bought the ones that I have years ago. I am priced out of the current second generation Charger market! When it comes to Chargers, a 30 grand car can turn into a hundred grand car real easy.

I did the wire mesh with bondo back in the day to get a buddy's daily driver through PA state inspection after he flunked. I took more time, and used a fiberglass base when I did my Valiant.I got a few stories looking at cars that were supposed to be absolutely great....one involved bondo with newspaper and wire mesh for bondo backing lol.
