Going to St Louis, MO May 25-28, what's there to do?

Flying out there to see my wife over the long weekend since she is out there for her Air Force technical training. What should we do?

See the arch,the zoo,science center,6 Flags.Too bad you won't be here on the weekend of June 8-9-10 the Monster Mopar Weekend is going on at gateway raceway in Madison Il. one of the largest mopar meets going!

Yeah, I saw that. If I told my wife I'm going to change the weekend I'm coming out and see her a "little" less I'd probably have more than my car missing.

I'm thinking the Cardinals are playing the Phillies that weekend in St. Louis. I don't really follow most sports religiously, but going to see the Cardinals is always a treat. Also like previously said, there zoo there is really great.

You picked a good weekend to go! That's the weekend they have Rib Fest going on. They fill the Soldiers Memorial Park (middle of downtown) with all kinds of outfits from all over the country that do competition BBQ Cooking...All the Ribs, pulled pork/chicken and brisket you can handle. The food is out of this world! Lots of adult refreshments to go with it. They also have Live music going on...Really is a fun time. Been there several times.

Another neat place not too far down the Road is Broadway Oyster Bar across from the Ball Park. It's a live Jazz and Blues bar that serves Cajun Creole Cuisine and obviously Oysters. The outside has a old tin roof, hanging lights, cajun decor and a stage area for the bands..Pretty neat Patina. Good Crawdad's and Bloody Mary's. Plenty of nightlife facilities to have fun at. A good bar/restauraunt for date night would be Bailey's Chocolate bar.

The Anheuser-Busch Brewery tour is fun..Place is Huge and reminds me of Willy Wonka's factory. Massive brick buildings with no windows and the Clydesdale Horses have a more plush living enviroment than I do. Free beer at the end of the tour...Hooray!!!

Awesome! thanks Prop. I'll have my 15 month old daughter with me so it looks like I'll be limited to the Zoo and Rib Fest but that sounds good enough. Good thing the wife and I have been working out hard and eating right for our trip to Key West in October, I think we deserve a cheat day on BBQ!
