I recently pulled my 727 to swap to a 5 speed and with it being a bolt in kit I didn't think to measure the original location of the tail shaft so now that I'm installing a T56 I really need to know where it's supposed to be. I don't want anybody going out of there way but if one of you is going to be under your car I'd love to get some dimensions, maybe a straight edge from rocker to rocker and a measurement up to the slip yoke and then side to side as well. Like I said don't go out of your way but it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Oh yeah, 68-70 B Body (69 Charger).

I was under mine today bolting the seat back in, if mine was an auto car I'd be happy to help but I don't think I'm much good to you

It doesn't matter, yours will still have the correct tail shaft height.

Gotchya! wish I'd seen this sooner. I work tomorrow but if I get home at a reasonable time I'll run a plum-line from rocker to rocker and get the measurement up for you. If not tomorrow I will have time Tuesday (if it's not too bloody cold lol)

No hurry.
