I’ve seen worse bought with the intent to bring back to life. Good luck I always say. Chris Birdsong has brought back some that surprised me.

donate me all the sheet metal, and I'll make a video

I could make a vid as well… but I lack Chris’ talent. :D

anyone who can handle a power tool can do it...... results depend on how much you give a ****...... does he follow them through to paint, or is he just a metal guy?

Two very different things. I’ve shot paint for a living, and I can lay down a nice looking finish. I’ve done collision body work as well as frame machine pulls. But bringing back completely rusted out hulks is a different kind of fuckery. :)

He has used the name CB Restorations but I have yet to see a shiny completed car from him. He seems to like the look of weathered cars. In fact, he has shown cars that he did the "patina" style dulled and faded looking paint on new sheet metal he welded in. It isn't my style but I respect the skill to do it.
I am one that likes to aim for super shiny after completing bodywork.
His metal replacement skills seem to be top notch.
