Got followed home!!!

Hosehead, did you have to sell your 65 for that, or did you get to keep both?
I saw your 65 at fall fling and wanted to introduce myself, but I missed you.

Very nice get!

Was this the one moshers mopars was advertising on Instagram?

Yes! I was there today picking up some little parts. Bob and I were decoding the fender tag. It is indeed a powder blue car with blue interior. He was telling me I should do it back in powder blue as he's never seen one that color. The idea is kinda growing on me.....

Thanks! Unfortunately I had to sell the 65 to get this. I'm lucky to have it at all. In the process of moving to Oklahoma and a, currently paying for two houses! My wife is pretty cool sometimes.

I recognized it by the one off colour fender and the roll cage. Not asking what you paid for it but even with the asking price that was damn good deal! Awesome car. If I wasn’t so far I was thinking of going to see it as well. I really like the white becuase my buddy has a 63 that I’m in love with, but the the powder blue on blue would be nice as well. Have fun with it and keep us all updated! I’ve always wanted to meet bob in person.

My 65 was also originally a blue on blue /6 car. Driven by a little old lady in Texas.... or so the story goes.

No luck Hosehead, Car was soda stripped and primed and is sitting in a storage trailer last I saw it.You know the story, one of those gung-ho projects that end up on the back burner.

Heck of a lot better than mine when I started. It was originally white with a blue gut as well.

Bob Mosher is a great guy. I first met him when his shop was in Sun Valley. He knew me for all of 10 minutes when he let me borrow his factory service manual so I could photo copy a couple of pages. I had planned on just copying what I needed with paper and pencil. I still have those photo copies.

Yep. He has been super helpful since I bought the car. I actually bought it from his shop manager, Steve. We've talked a bunch of times, theyve given me lots of advice, parts etc. last time I was there they gave me a hat and a shirt and told me I was now part of the family. Great dudes.
