I just started watching this show and can say I know what you are talking about already. Seems like a lot of knuckleheads dithering around with Worman cracking the whip and b*tching about them. Basically made up drama for TV's sake. Fortunately I DVR it so I can fast forward through the B.S.

Actually, my DVR didn't skip recording the new season of GYC, so, I did watch it last night. The silliness and drama made that show, the lockeroom banter was great to watch. Now, it's all cars -- which is not a BAD thing, but, seeing El Grande Nose sanding a fender which is Bodyshop 101 (like we really care) really isn't a secret. And, seeing his bloatedness talk out the side of his *** how he never does Restomods only OEM restorations AS he's working on an E Body aftermarket Front End; priceless! Daren and Josh are missed.

Restomods and customer requested Magnum Force suspension, which by the way he says in the episode he hates to have to work on, are totally different things. Customer wanted to make the car a daily driver, so adding an after-market k-member suspension doesn't make the whole car a Restomod. Mark sanding was actually educational - you might find it boring - but anyone who is aspiring to know more about the process behind the restoration might learn something. And of course Darren and Josh are missed, especially when everyone complained about the drama. As soon as the "drama" players are removed, everyone wants it back. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Hater's are gonna hate.

I decided I'll keep watching it. What's first and foremost is Mopars. We will have at least two more years of GYC after this season is over, Mark told me this himself when I messaged him telling him I thought this would be his last year on air b/c people liked the drama Daren and Josh brought. He said I'm in the minority, lol.

The Drama was minimal, more of the painter just not letting Mark talk crap to him. I could tell he was not going to let Mark tell the camera BS like how he trained him lol For me it's about the cars, the new shop is awesome I could only wish I could have something like that Mark is living some of us dream. I can respect that. He get's a lot of mopar business, and If I can get my hands on the 70 Cuda' across the street from me it's going to GYC. It's the perfect candidate all original 383 4 speed plum car all the parts are there just needs the correct restoration.

I would be much more impressed with what we see!! Our own Graveyard Carz! In other words like bigmanjb posted.
I'm not all that impressed with the lives of athletes, the Cardashians,actors and their great lives...I'm interested in MINE and my friends true people that make friendships and good acquaintances. cool stuff we see and the friendship of the hobby. I watched Azz Monkey and Counting Cars.... most of it is a fable. I've been playing cars all my life and NEVER see those cheap prices on great cars.....as a buddy of mine says "ain't real". Just for tv. AzzMonkey claimed they finished the 69z convertible just in time to drive it to the customer for the give away event. BULLSHIRT!!! that car sat in front of my house for at least a week!!! and the work was not all that great for the 150,000.00 he charged Sonic!!!!!!

Interesting, brand new user name “gyc_sucks” from Springfield, Oregon using the well-known GYC FB tag line “haters are gonna hate”. With plenty of sarcastic comments in defense of the show in the first three posts, it does sound like Mr. Worman has joined these ranks.

i was thinking it was will. Regardless, its cool. I so wish i could have gotten a job there. The wife and i discussed it when they advertised for help. It wasnt even a possibility moving across the country at that time.

Mark is very clever and uses the new contemporary tool called Social Media very well. Don't blame him one bit for coming to fbbo and the other F*bo sites! Reading and hearing what is said that is not flattering is all part of making tomorrow better for the business and the product. When I read all the Rex stories about that green Charger I felt let down a bit and that one of our own Mopar guys was screwing people over. But, there is always more to just this or that side of the story, getting past the horrendous grammar used by the complainer back there was almost too hard to endure. I'll stick with GYC, wish Daren and Josh the best of luck, miss the humor, don't think Mark will call his daughter a Long Turd, but, we'll see!

When i first started off, I worked in a small auto repair shop in an industrial park. There were all different kinds of shops in the are, and everyone knew everyone. All the old guys would call me all kinds of names. It goes with the territory. Its the hazing you get as a newb and it builds character and is an important way being able to tell who will make it in the biz and who wont. If you cant handle that you wont make it as a mechanic. Or body man. You can see why Will made it and darren and josh are gone.

GYC, AzzMonkey, Counting Cars.... in my opinion have raised undue cost to our hobby with the big money boys
