she could just be one of those flirty types to get whatever she wants.... which i am not at all opposed to. i spent money on crap i didnt need so many times by random cuties leaning precariously over toward me and flicking their hair working at various places..... "what, i could make my toilet gold plated for only an extra $5000 dollars, honey did you hear what this nice young lady with the huge rack leaning over just said, we would could gold plate our new toilet and it would cost less per month than your truck" they are just good at it. do we even know if alyssa is the same daughter that was with the "son in law" from the first couple seasons? its possible Mark has more than one daughter too.

Constructive Criticism.....Bart Excellent point!I must admit it is better than the 1st 2 seasons
last season was better than the previous 5-6 were...
I'd still like to see more technical aspects less outsourcing,
more in house stuff, gauges, interior/upholstery, rear end assemblies,
engine & trans ***. aspects etc., to help some of keep our interest more...
He's supposed to be "only a handful of people in the world, that can do it"

Some of the product plugs I don't mind, not a whole fucken' show thou...
Seems he's backed off of that some too, less nonsense & less non Mopar
or restoration related plugging BS anyway...
{I know it helps pay the bills, it screws up the show too}
I'll DVR it again, watch it when ol' Pops is asleep
still can't stand the "character" Mark plays to the cameras
His daughter Alysa {?} refreshingly, {she's cute too}
I can relate to "some of his banter" or actual times he's teaching her,
{I raised 4 girls & have 5 sisters, I did some of that with al of them}
not all the name calling "Markisms or grab-***/dancing BS"
IMO she is a better part of the show now...
He has to slow down & explain how to do stuff,
#'s meaning, what stuff does, the history, why & where, to her etc.
If I want to watch a comedy I'll turn it to the Comedy Network,
A little of that crap goes a loooooooooooong ways...
It is slightly better the past 2 seasons...
IMO K-A Dave is pretty good with her too, teaching wise...
It's all information & for the newbies restoration people watching,
general audiences, that are for more prevalent to watching thes shows,
than most experienced restoration people actually watching...
IMO Will is a real guy it seems, not all acting it up for the cameras,
but "I like his part he plays", especially when he gives Mark crap
for his stupid nonsense too...
GWC's/Mark has basically started to buy up cars to restore
& resale onsite, he's allegedly becoming another used car dealer...
I've watched or DVR'd usually fast forward thru most every show,
get past the Markisms & get to the work & cars, parts etc.
it's the only reason I still watch, is because of the cars/Mopars...
Not the clown owner, that has a ton of cool Mopars...
Maybe they'll do a cool A-Body, a 67-69 Cuda or a GTS 383
I'm sick of the E-Bodies, I like em' but like B-Bodies better...
I'll admit he did at-least do more of the B-Bodies last season...

I dealt it out liberally, I always do, its' not filtered, what I think/believe,
it's not just bashing the show, it is still the only all Mopar oriented show,
it's the only type Mopar show...
I'd like to see it much better & survive 10+ seasons...
If I wanted to watch bad scripts, bad acting, lame jokes & grab *** insults
& dancing singing etc., than I'd watch SNL & I hate SNL too...

I know just me typing here some GYC troll is watching, waiting, and trigger finger happy for me to post my opinion. opps, I did it again, lol At times I feel they are the equivalent to the Radical Liberals.....What I mean by that is? The things they have, they things they produce DO NOT match what they say they can do? But they will come out as a pack of wolves defending and at times just will not stop bantering.....

Rumor has it, they've been renewed for Season 8 and 9.

We have been supplying the front end components for the past 2 seasons and I can say that they are great bunch of people. I have been in contact with Mark and he is great guy to work with and is knowledgeable. Even giving me tips on getting the seam sealer to look factory on a 68 RR Conv that I did frame rails on over the winter. We actually have just shipped out the front end kits for the next seasons taping.

The seam sealer..... Products, steps, tips, pictures etc.......Showing brush strokes, globs, etc...The interior flexible black type that has been either painted over or not(still debated on application). The foam type used between panels. Also, the traditional type used on all other seams.

On the runner I assume you're talking about all of areas where panels meet such as trunk floor to inner and outer wheel house, to rear body panel, trunk floor extensions, etc... If this is I use 1 1/2" tape and center it on the seam so that 3/4" from center is covered both ways. Then mask to the edge of the 1 1/2" on both sides and pull up the original mask leaving you an 1 1/2" trough if you will. Then use http://3mcollision.com/products/sound-deadening/3m-urethane-seam-sealer-08361-gray.html and build it up about 1/16-1/8" and smooth it out (roughly as it was not perfect from the factory) with a 2" chisle brush.

I labeled above the different areas. You are referring to what you see. So let's focus on that. That technique is a safe way and works effectively. Also, that technique is well know amongst the hobbyist's and is Great for a non OE gold type Restoration....
The factory original was sloppy, messy, stringy etc. They used a gun or a can(at times) and slopped it on and in most and not all areas used a finger or a brush dipped in thinner. Through repetition they knew how to get the right build up to smooth down.
No need for pictures I already know what yours looks likes but thanks for sharing...

Sometimes they do forget who pays the bills......
I was almost done when Sons of Anarchy killed off Opie, then they had that crappy ending......

GYC nearly unwatchable, Mark smelling paint to guess the formula is, give me a break. Must have spent to much time in spray booth without a mask. Time to switch channels and check back in a few minutes or as said record and FF it. You can get a few nuggets of info sometimes between the BS.

Just my opinion folks....we, the MOPAR nation finally has a show that deals with nothing but MOPARS....no Chebbies...no Ferds, just all sorts of awesome builds!
This guy Mark seems to know his stuff...even though I have never heard his name mentioned in all the years of reading about restorations and the people behind the companies out there in any Mopar mag. But WTF??!! Does he have to do the ***-clown dance all the time...he looks like a total tool, I don't know if it is all for tv or what? I am sure that any brand C or F fan is looking at that and just laughing their asses off...thinking that every Mopar fan is the same! Just build the damn car, show off the products your using and leave the drama and b.s. to all the other "reality" shows....save that goof ball crap for your family...OFF camera!!
