I like the show, I like Mark. He is like Donald Trump in that he knows how to push peoples buttons. Those that think he is arrogant are NOT paying close enough attention. He has creative control of the show so if he wanted, he could edit out every flaw or mistake like other shows do. He leaves them in place because he is not afraid to look silly or "human".
He dances and I laugh. He looks at the camera with a smirk and I laugh. I understand the man and his show because I am very much like him. Those that do not appreciate his antics are the same types of people that I have dealt with my entire life. I make jokes to random strangers and maybe 1 in 10 "get the joke". I play pranks on co-workers, family and friends and most respond with blank stares. Most people seem to be programmed to avoid attention getting behavior that guys like Mark and I engage in. I think that the world would be a very boring place without guys like him.
Yeah, he's a real funny guy, unless it happens to be your 69 Daytona that the drags across the floor on a floor jack, the jack slips off the k frame, and takes out your front valence pan and nosecone! Had me in stiches,NOT! He would have been in stiches if that was my car!I like the show, I like Mark. He is like Donald Trump in that he knows how to push peoples buttons. Yep, he (Ian) even said he built it 'to show only'With 1" of ground clearance, there's a car that will never get driven.
I liked Dave Rea a lot. He would take the time to explain, and show you how things go together with tips to make it easier. Worman probably fired Dave because he might be a little more knowledgeable about mopars.i quit watching when dave left. the only parts on the show i like are the assembly sections
Full custom garage is pretty good. I like how that guy fabricates anything, kind of like Macgyver. A few wing nuts, and some bolts....helicopter that flies. There are shows that feature more work and less drama.
Wheeler Dealers
Full Custom Garage
Even Garage Squad
My ex wife used to give me a lot of negative feedbackI not here to argue with you but you don't know what your talking about. I have left plenty of negative feedback.
I used to think the same thing. Really didn't like all his B.S. antics and especially how he puts people down. Now I have gotten used to it and kind of think he's funny...……..as long as he's not putting people down, I really hate people who do that...…..especially when he starts making fun of people's weight.Wondering if its just me or if others feel similarly about Mark W. the host/owner of this show/shop. I personally don’t care for his attitude and antics. I would like to see more work and sharing of knowledge than the BS Motor Trend is dishing up. Don’t get me wrong having fun is a natural part of this hobby and having a sense of humor is important. If anyone is familiar with Chris Birdsong (Junkerup) he would be so much better. He is real unlike Mark who’s humor looks forced and contrite. Seems like Motor Trend could do a lot better I MHO.
Meh! It's kinda like watching any TV show. I use the mute button or look at my phone when a commercial comes on.Wondering if its just me or if others feel similarly about Mark W. the host/owner of this show/shop. I agree, Dave was a cool guy, meticulous with detail.I liked Dave Rea a lot. He would take the time to explain, and show you how things go together with tips to make it easier. Worman probably fired Dave because he might be a little more knowledgeable about mopars.
Mopar muscle was written by mostly chevy guys.Worman wrote a column for Mopar Muscle for a while and then the magazine quit coming out. Coincidence?
