Great long-time friends are awesome!!

My friend from L.A. just sent me a couple NOS things he had sitting around since the 70's. We were talking about me building another nostalgia prostock....and he sent me these. We've known each other since about 1978. He moved to Detroit to work as an engineer at Ford, from Indy. I met him at Gratiot Auto Supply, and we became great friends. A couple years later, I helped him move to the left-coast [got me outta Detroit during a nasty divorce]to go work aerospace for all the big companies. He's still out there, and we still talk all the time. Gotta thank Phil for being such a good life-long friend, and he's always been there for me.

Good for you, they're sure few and far between.. I'm still buddies with my neighbor from our toddler days while alot of other friends have come and gone over the years. People seem to move a lot more often than they did years ago, makes it harder.

A true friendship is one where you can not see each other for years and just pick up where you left off like no time passed.
My college buddy moved out of the country 10 years ago. He comes back to the States once a year. He sees his sister in NY, his mother in FL and stays with me a few days. We sit and laugh just like in the old days and feels like 35 years ago was yesterday. My wife just watches and rolls her eyes at our stupid jokes.

I have 2 friends that I grew up with and talk about once a week. Both in NY and ,Im in s Carolina. They both looked at my Bee and helped get it sent to me. Then I helped one move to Tennessee ,Real friends are far and few.
