I have a new to me GTX that we were going to check the timing on and the distributer was shocking me around the end of the plug wires. More than one was getting me. I have a service manual and the only grounds I see are off the battery to the block and off the head lights. Are there any grounds to the frame or firewall? This car is redone and maybe they missed something or I just have crappy wires. Plug wires look new but you cant tell I guess.
Thanks in advance!!
Bill

I have not found block to body then. I am ordering plug wires to stop the shock. Did these cars have the block to body or how should I add it?

rear of the block to the firewall is how 90% of the cars ive pulled apart have been

You cannot have too many ground wires. I always add several. Block to chassis. Battery negative to a fender bolt and so on. IMO, the factory didn't use enough. Use BIG ones.

This is correct, 67 should have a short ground strap going from the rear passenger side head to the firewall. They re-pop these I believe.
