Is the ground for the headlight harness?

The headlights on my '64 Belvedere quit working when the connection on that ground wire loosened up.
 
Headlight ground. I think some years had separate grounds for left and right, some had one ground for both.

I would certainly assume so. But please be sure and check it with a test light. It would suck if it was somehow a power wire and you grounded it. It always pays to be 100% SURE. Not 99%.

Thanks for the input. There is a little screw within reach that looks like it wants something attached to it, right above the wire harness in the pic,.. lol
 
Oh I've no doubt it's a ground. But I aint tellin you it is for sure. Fast as a test light confirmation will take, better safe than burned to the ground.

Oh, trust me... If there are 2 ways to do something, I always find the wrong way first. Come to think of it, if there is only one way to do it, I still do it the wrong way.....lol

Puzackly. I have that same problem. lol Plus, here's the big ole internet between us to act as a middleman. Nope. No way am I gonna give the go ahead on somethin without sayin*VERIFY*. LMAO. The results if it was wrong, would SUCK.
