GUYS BEWARE! instrument panel restoration services at 2K inc. Warning!

Well, I had my 68 Dart instrument cluster and glove box done by John earlier this year. Once again, great communication, multiple pictures of the progress and perfect results in the end. I do think that John, like anyone else in this conversation responds in kind. If you are an asshat toward him or his family he will not tolerate fools gladly. I cannot fault him for that. Bottom line, if you are uncomfortable in dealing with an individual or business, spend your money somewhere else. Again, I would not hesitate to send an instrument panel to John for restoration. Sorry your experience was less than stellar.
 
The fact that someone else had a problem with his communication says it all. I'm a patient honest individual. I still to this day do not know why he completely refused to call me when my panel was done especially since he had my landline and cell phone numbers in writing. When my emails from him finally came through, I was baffled by all the irate emails I got from him wondering why I wasn't responding. An intelligent person would have picked up the phone, called me,and said sir your panel is done and I'm ready for payment. I will send my dashes elsewhere
 
Hi 400s forever, I c this post is 2 yrs old, My experience was not good with John either, however I was calling for some help on trouble shooting an ignition problem. I got his name from a local (Burlington area) individual. I first ask if was a good time to ask for technical help. He said yes, I tried to explain my situation, turned into him being very agitated as I was not able to explain my problem clearly and accurately etc, etc. He had no patience for my inability to explain my situation according to him..........I simply apologized several times and finally said I was sorry for bothering him and hung up, can not speak for his work etc, but thought u might want to know my experience with him. I am located in SE Iowa and have a 66 Charger on the rotisserie, hated to lose potential "expert" but is what it is :)
Thank you for posting this experience. It proves my story of his absolute zero patience or lack of customer courtesy
