More voices than you know. That is what I wanted to do as a career but couldn't swing moving at a young age. Family, responsibilities sort of come first.
But back in the day if you wanted to do character voices for WB or HB, you had to live or at least be on the west coast and on call.
I was always a big fan of Daws Butler. You may remember him more as Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Mr Jinx, Dixie, Augie Doogie, Quick Draw McGraw, Baba Looey, Wally Gator, Elroy, Mr Cogswell (Cogswell Cogs), Capt Crunch and the list goes on.
The other was Don Messick from Buffalo, NY, better known as Boo Boo, Ranger Smith, Droopy, Muttley, Pixie, Scrooge's Father, Ricochet Rabbit, Papa Smurf, Bam Bam, numerous voice on Transformers and probably his most famous, Astro/Scooby Doo. And that list goes on as well.
All these guys as well as Mel Blanc I so admired.
But life goes on and here we are! Happy 75th Bugs!
