Hardtop vs Coupe - value?

my "original" 71 SE is a wp29 car has electric roll down rear windows

Well org I said I was unsure , but I've never ever seen or heard of one . I've seen stationary window couple s in 73-74 but I've never seen any in 71-72 .
I would be interested in seeing one of anyone has any pictures.

here is one i parted
it needed too much metal from the roof to floors/rails/x members
and i have a 71 rr shell i'm putting together that needed every last thing
the vin is rh23g1g226xxx
a 71 satellite sebring
it had fixed rear windows and
the fender tag has the code
A93 = 70-71 B & E Body Coupe Package
it wasn't exactly a stripper car
but it did have rubber mats instead of carpet
full vinyl roof
318-904
low level steering wheel, front bench seat
it also had hd 11 drums and a/c and 3 spd wipers
am radio
the rear panels were solid with no holes
for any window cranks
so now you have seen one

That's even stranger, a "21" body with a "coupe" package.

Never heard of that. VIN matches body?

It's also got drip rail trim, sport mirrors and a vinyl top.

Those don't generally jive with a floor mat instead of carpet.

Everything matched 97k orig miles
was mostly unmolested just the main harness was hacked up

Was a treasure trove of hardware for my 71 rr

It was a yard driver
When i get home later
I will post up the tag

here is the tag
it was a neat car
and it gave many gifts when it died
the car was a very untouched original and the only thing messed with on it
was the dash harness.
not a nut bolt or clip was missing
fixed rear windows and
yes rubber mats front and rear.
i even still have chunks of them kickin around in the scrap pile
i saw them today
if you want pics
the doors and rear panels were never taken apart as
the plastic barrier behind the panels was 100%% intact and saved
and all the seals on the ac heater box and firewall insulation
were the donors used for the rebuild kit for heater boxes
sold by detroit mucsle tech.
when taking it apart it was obvious alot of the car was virgin.
the pass side door hinges were as tight as new
i doubt the door was opened 10 times ever in its life.

also as a side note
the A93 code is also the code used to identify the
western sport special challengers
that also came with fixed side glass

so there is your 23 hardtop car
that is coded for a fixed rear side window coupe package in 1971
check out the other codes on the tag
it was even a sales bank car

I think if you research the numbers of each built, there were always fewer hardtops built than coupes. Does that make them more valuable? Your guess is as good as mine.

My 68 is a hardtop. Putting big HP in a hardtop has it's flaws. Many week points and a lot of body twist. The post cars are a little stronger hence the reason they make a better drag car.

3rd gens are not actually with a real post ( but just 73/74 SEs, where ANYWAY the post is a weak metal strip )

On 3rd gen chargers the coupe denomination is not more than a fixed glass onto a braket on same frame for the window opening and just the molding on glass "makes a B pillar" look
