Need some help i found a guy that has a set of headers not sure of the brand but not heddman or hooker, but he is saying they are for 68-74 b-body, i want to put them on my 63 polara, does anyone know if these fit? Dont want to buy these and not fit then have to sell them. Just emailed me and he said they are Flow Tech headers

Most headers for BB B/E bodies list '62-'72 B and '70-'74 E applications.

There is very little difference in the B/E chassis/K except engine placement in relation to the K frame. A later K in an early B sets the engine back about 1" or so and the mounts are slightly different.

That being said I have no knowledge on the Flowtech brand.

Interesting read:

Apparently they are the same as the Dynomax header. I had a set of these on my '71 'Cuda and, despite what the article says they fit well and were a nice piece. Maybe they improved on later versions?!?

Gonna go get the drivers side in the morning and see if it fits, if so i got a set of cheap headers. Hoping for the best. thanks for the help, was hoping you would chime in.

With the engine forward from where it would be in the later cars watch clearance on all steering linkage. I have a set of Hookers for 66 and up on my 64 and you can see that it would be a much nicer fit if the engine was set back the 1" or so that the newer ones are- had to dent heck out of them. Everything else clears fine, just drag links / tie rods. Good Luck

Just put them in and they fit really good, I was surprised, i will post pics on the Forum Beers and Buffers.
