I have the old 2" Hooker super comp headers on my 400 / 499" stroker but I think the Victor heads have raised exhaust ports, and I bashed them to fit.

I have the old 2" Hooker super comp headers on my 400 / 499" stroker but I think the Victor heads have raised exhaust ports, and I bashed them to fit.

Who was it that did a 'bash the headers' test? Freiburger and Dulcich? It's on Youtube and they found that short of being pinched down to nothing, the dents didn't hurt anything but the looks. When it's only air, it doesn't much care but tube and collector extention length does make a difference.
