Heater control to heater valve cable

Hi

Does someone know what the cable looks like that comes from the heater control lever to the heater valve? It is missing on my 64 Polara and I have no clue what I am looking for.

Maybe a picture?

The cable looks very much like a choke cable a solid steel cable running inside a wire wrap outer shell. Each end has a ring made by "rolling" the inside cable. Sometimes the cable is covered with a pvc jacket. Here is the link to Classic industries for the cable you seek.
