Happens with the old cars too. Buzzed on every drive. You can hear them before you see them. Fart pipe rev limiters etc. This guy has a sign on the back. Spotted this one in a shopping center in San Jose.

It's not easy. Every rat rod running snot nose punk thinks they see a hot rod/muscle car and that driver is out to run someone just because there in "That Car."

It's not easy being on top. Everyone is out to prove them self against the big dog on top of the heap.

I get it every time I drive the Duster.

Agreed. Not easy being on the top!

Not a hellcat. But, I get buzzed all the time! Old charger. Karma though. I watched a stang that buzzed me get stopped by an unmarked! Yeah, I saw the unmarked first and just sat back and watched the show! Karma!

I'm still tempted to bait them sometimes but --don't. I would get a big smile if they wrecked their car cause I gave them "the look/wink" but hurting someone outside of our little joust is too big of a price to risk being a part of.

I lived through many close calls in the sixties and seventies when the roads were much more open than they are today. I am alive today but some of my old friends are not.
And this leaves out the mention of those that just happen to be driving in those days and became a part of knee jerk fun.:poke: Life and death are almost the same ---it's just a matter of time and the odds catching up.

When you are young you haven't had enough time to see what could happen in practice and gain something from it.
When you are old--you have seen it and feel blessed to be able to remember the fun that was ---just before the time that something happened that you will never forget.

I don't know - I kind of like being on top. But then again it's kind of fun being on the bottom sometimes too...... It all depends on what she looks like.....

...and which way she is facing.

My wife once said doggy style is great because then both of us could watch the game on TV.

interesting. when I used to drive my 406 vega on the street, I got that from a twin turbo charged porcshe, on the 4 lane. after I smoked him, he wanted to get in some twisties "as he call them" curves. didn`t oblige him w/ the tubs and 14x32 et streets. he turned off quickly next exit.

Couldn't agree more.. Unfortunately for those young and crazy (like we were) seeing our cars is bait enough. I try not to do anything else to wind them up. It's fun to watch when they do something stupid and get caught but I'd never want them to get hurt and as we know it can happen in a second! Just can't fix stupid!

Not so much up here, far fewer squirrelly types...

I was guilty back in the day...
Honestly, Like most here were too...
Mostly it was a pairing of 2 young guys, showing/squaring off too...
It is what it is, especially in the city...

I'm older & much smarter today, I think...LOL

I get buzzed occasionally, but I just ignore 'em. Most of them don't know how to drive and I don't want to be taken out by some squirrel.

Funniest thing I seen was a young guy (early 20's, Mustang) pulls up to an older wiser fella. (Mid 30's, 69 Charger)
The Stang starts with a burnout and some smack. After 3 refusal's to race the Stang, he (seemingly) caves in and says OK, let's go!

Light changes green and BANG! The Stang rockets off! The Charger never moves. Waits for the cop on the otherside of the road to make the U turn and then, Slowly drives away.

I'd call that a victory without lifting a foot! LMAO!

And furthermore, these are great days. 707 hp King available at your dealer. Not a Stang that had another 20k put in by Henessy, Chennesy, and Tennessee. From the FACTORY. Also, I try to stay calm in traffic too. If anything, kick their *** at launch or strategy and back off at speed limit. In downtown trafic, just not safe. In the boonies, well...Charger Hellcat. Fastest Sedan on the Planet. Ever. God Bless Ma Mopar. Show em if you got em.

Going out in the hellcat
You just have to pick your spots
To show who is boss lol
Had a car full of kids drooling
After getting spanked bad in a ss camaro
They know

I was in my 1969 Super Bee yesterday and in the right lane first at a red light. A guy in a 10 year old Honda (not riced out) gets in the left lane and revved his engine. I laughed and told him it was a Honda. I put my hand on the shifter and slowly pulled out into first gear.
