$_57 (1).jpgBlack on Black 1968 Hemi Roadrunner, four speed numbers matching car. Very nice condition but not to the point where I would not want to drive it. Was number 18 of 20 Hemi RR that went to Canada. I was lucky to fine the seller in Canada. Went up to see the car and as soon as the garage door opened I was hooked.

In 68 I ordered a new Hemi RR and 6 weeks into the order the dealer call to tell me the Hemi assembly plant was on strike and the did not know how long it would last. I told them to change the order to the 383 and the car was delivered four week later. The car was stolen 9 months later. Have always wanted to get a Hemi RR but could not afford it till now.
Have to change a few minor thing to get it back to factory stock. This 71 year old is a kid again.

Awesome RR. Welcome from MI. Love to see more pictures.

Beautiful car my man! Nothing like a old/new Mopar to keep you young. Welcome to FBBO. This Mopar University...

Nice car! A friend of mine has one same year same color same engine. Welcome aboard :hello2:

Very nice, congrats, and welcome. Got me one of those recently, too.

Congrats and welcome. Need more pictures.

good for you, I hope I am alive at 71 never mind buying hemi's... Very nice car...

My dad is 87 and driving a new hemi challenger, god bless and lucky you! Wish my 68 RR had the hemi, the 383 is fine for me. Every time I drive it, its like going back in time. Enjoy!

Welcome, great car you got there.

Heck yea.....a 68 RR with even a 318 would make me smile. Love em' all....Mopar or no car!!! Super nice find...enjoy friend!!

Nice find!!

Now for the million dollar question. Did you drive it home to Texas??!!

So that's Canada to Texas? Man, some of these cars get around.
I'm curious where you were when you 383 car was stolen.
Oh, by the way.
Nice car. I think that's an understatement.
This is the color combo of the 68 car my older sister's boyfriend had (383) that made me always want a Road Runner.
Then I found one right around the corner that was located within a mile from where he took me for a ride in his in 68.
So I'm sort of having flash back looking at your car.
